Aphorisms: Part 6

Propaganda does not deceive people.  It merely helps people to deceive themselves.  *********************************************************************************

Suffering cleanses only when it is free of resentment.  Total contempt for our tormentors safeguards our soul from the mutilations of bitterness and hatred. ******

To the old, the new is usually bad news.  *****************************************

Naivete in grownups can be charming;  but when coupled with vanity it is indistinguishable from stupidity.  ************************************************

We have a sense of power when we inflict pain – even if it be upon ourselves. *****

The search for happiness is one of the chief causes of unhappiness.  **************

It is always a safe bet to assume that people are more subtle and less sensitive than they seem.  *********************************************************************

We have rudiments of reverence for the human body, but we consider it as nothing to rape the human mind.  ******************************************************

Hatred often speaks the language of hope.  *************************************

Hey – awesome blog, just looking around some blogs, seems a pretty awesome platform you are using. I’m presently using Drupal for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform very similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would advise about it? Best wishes, Angila.
