Irish Organized Crime: The Arrest of “Whitey” Bulger on 6/22/2011

   James Joseph “Whitey” Bulger, Jr., was born in 1929, and is alleged to be a former crime boss in Massachusetts.  In August, 1999, Mr. Bulger became the 458th. person added to the FBI’s ” Ten Most Wanted” list. 

   Mr. Bulger was held in federal custody in Atlanta, Georgia, where he “participated” in MK-ULTRA.  MK-ULTRA gave prisoners LSD and other mind altering drugs and acted in behalf of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency.  Prisoners who “volunteered” were given reduced prison time. 

   After his release Bulger worked as an enforcer for Donald Killeen, the boss of a powerful Boston Crime Family.  Bulger was a “soldier” for the Killeen Gang in their war against the Mulleen Gang. 

   Whitey Bulger was wanted for racketeering and 19 counts of murder, extortion, money laundering, conspiracy, and narcotics distribution.  He was arrested on June 22, 2011, after evading capture for sixteen years.  He was arrested in San Monica, California, along with his mistress, Catherine Greig.

   He was 81 years old at the time of his arrest. believes that Mr. Bulger will never be brought to trial because of his ” involvement ” in the LSD experiments while he was in jail.  The U.S. government would not like to have the MK-Ultra experiments as part of any more public records.
