It has become increasingly clear that the President and congress can not manage nor control the Federal Government of the U.S. This situation has existed for at least thirty-six years and probably much longer. Many believe that the problems reach far back to the administration of President Lyndon Johnson. President Donald Trump was elected by a vast majority of U.S. states to ‘fix’ a broken Washington, D.C.
Sanityandsense.com believes that one of three events will occur in the near future. The three options are 1) Civil War, 2) Balkanization, and 3) The Extraordinary Option. This article will discuss the first two. The following article will discuss ” The Extraordinary Option. ”
The U.S. Civil War was a conflict that lasted from 1861 to 1865. The Union, in the North, faced secessionists from eleven Southern States known as the Confederacy. In 1861, there were 34 states in the U.S. The U.S. Civil War was the bloodiest in U.S. history.
A Civil War in the 21st. Century would not be regional in nature. A 21st. Century Civil War would be ideological between the radical left and the radical right. Sane and sensible individuals can see some aspects of this today without too much violence. The probability of having a larger scale Civil War in the U.S. is estimated at slightly less than 10%. Presently the news media is conducting a ” non-violent” war with about 90% of the media supporting the radical left and 10% of the media supporting the radical right. However, the scatological reporting and false news being presented by a totally biased media can quickly become a violent event. The probability of extensive violence is estimated to be about 10%.
Balkanization is a geopolitical term used to describe a process of fragmentation of a region or a country into smaller regions. Balkanization of the U.S. would probability result in four separate independent countries. The Northeastern U.S. would become one sovereign country. The Southeastern U.S. would become a second sovereign country. The Northwestern U.S. would become a third sovereign country. The Southwestern U.S. would become a fourth sovereign country. The probability of Balkanization is estimated at about 10%.
Most Americans do not want a Civil War nor Balkanization. That is why it is so extremely important to understand the third option that I have labeled “The Extraordinary Option.” The extraordinary option has an estimated probability of occurrence of 80%. The next post on this website will explain the extraordinary option.
