Memorial Day – 2017

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States which occurs every year on the final Monday in May.  This is a day to remember all of the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. armed forces.

World War II was the last legally declared war by the U.S. Congress.  However, it is only fitting and proper to remember all of the men and women who died in all of the military actions.  It is also fitting and proper to remember all of the men and women who died in the process of gathering intelligence for the protection of our Republic.

It is only fitting and proper to honor all of the men who died on June 8,1967, while serving on the USS Liberty.
