On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2018, I decided to watch some TV. I turned to CNN and viewed three one hour documentaries relating to the Catholic Church and various Popes.
I find it interesting how individuals rewrite history and twist facts. Now I have five college/university degrees. Two of my three graduate degrees were obtained from a Catholic University. I obtained a Master of Science Degree and a graduate degree in business administration from a Catholic college. Had I known then what I know now, I never would have attended a Catholic college.
I make a very sincere effort in life to learn something new each day and do something kind(Christian) for someone each day. One of the CNN documentaries related in part to Pope Pius XII. The Papacy of Pius XII began in 1939 and ended in 1958. The CNN documentary attempted to picture Pius XII as a man who condemned the Nazi atrocities. Yet Pius XII never stated this in public. Indeed there were one or two Bishops who condemned the Nazi horrors, however, there were a number of very high Catholic Church officials who thought that Adolph Hitler was just fine. After World War II was over, while Pius XII was Pope, Argentine Cardinal Antonio Caggiano helped known Nazi War criminals evade justice by helping them move to South America. French Cardinal Tisserant also helped Nazi War criminals evade justice and travel to South America. What a surprise that this was not mentioned in the CNN documentary !
There is a clear directive in the Bible from Jesus Christ to protect the children of the world. About twelve years ago, I learned through reading and study how frequently some Catholic Priests molested children. Sadly, this serious sin was covered up many times by higher members of the Catholic Church which makes this reprehensible act even more serious.
There are nineteen articles relating to the Catholic Church located on this website. One titled: ” The Vatican and Their Nazi Friends” was published on March 24, 2011. It is one of the most read articles on this website. If you would like to read any of the nineteen articles, simply type in VATICAN in the search box on the home page and click go. The articles will appear in order of publication for your reading pleasure.
I made a very serious attempt to only publish known and proven facts. However, I did give my opinion at the end of one of the factual articles. I believe that the long period of time and the large number of children sexually molested requires that the Catholic Church be criminally prosecuted under the Federal RICO statutes. Finally a quote from Father Amorth who was an exorcist in the Vatican. He stated: ” The Devil is at work in the Vatican.”
I wish everyone, regardless of religious affiliation, a very Merry Christmas. Hopefully yours will be happy and allow you to reflect on your life and your obligations to mankind.
